La Tancada lagoon is the most saline in the Delta, with a very well-conserved salt marsh where flamingos are often seen. Close by, the Trabucador sandbar and beach are the access point to the large Els Alfacs bay and the Punta de la Banya peninsula, a real paradise (with restricted access) where countless birds nest and winter.
