One of the wildest natural areas in Catalonia, its diverse landscapes range from the green meadows and lush forests of the Boumort and Carreu mountain ranges to the steep cliffs of the Collegats gorge. Birds of prey and mountain birds abound and the Boumort mountain range is the only place in Europe where all four species of European vulture can be found. In autumn, the bellowing of the stags is another great natural spectacle.

Birdwatching, salt production and traditional fishing are the three main themes of the activities offered by MónNatura Delta de l’Ebre. This spectacular facility provides exclusive access to the Alfacada lagoon for birdwatching, special ornithological activities and guided tours (360º viewpoint, Espai Delta, etc.).
Excursions of one or more days, individually or in groups, to photograph the most iconic species in the region. They manage several fixed and temporary hides, specialising in birds in high mountain areas (such as the Casa Daniela hide for observing scavengers), hills and drylands.
