Belianes-Preixana drylands

This large alluvial plain is formed by the gravel deposited by the River Corb, with wide agricultural plateaus surrounded by small hills. The main crops are winter cereals, followed by almond trees, olive trees and vines. The terraced fields with their rich dry stone heritage (vaulted huts, walls, etc.) contain some larger trees, such as holm oaks and hackberry trees. Steppe birds are abundant, with over 30 species nesting here.
