From Horta de Sant Joan, an asphalted road (regulated at peak times) takes us into the Els Ports Natural Park, past the unmistakable silhouette of the Roques de Benet. Birds of prey can be seen flying over the cliffs, and birds of agricultural habitats can be seen in the fields. From the La Franqueta picnic area there is a route to the rocky banks of the Estrets River, where many birds can be seen and, early in the morning, wild goats.

They manage several fixed and temporary hides, specialising in birds in high mountain areas (such as the Casa Daniela hide for observing scavengers), hills and drylands.
