Located at almost 1,900 metres, and the site of the Baqueira-Beret ski resort, the beautiful broad Beret plain is one of the most accessible parts of the Val d’Aran. From the ski station an easy, flat route (on foot or by mountain bike) follows the River Noguera Pallaresa through pastures, high mountain meadows and mountain pine forests to the historic sanctuary of Montgarri.
