Serra de Llaberia

With its rugged terrain, steep ravines and vertiginous escarpments, and wild Mediterranean landscape, the remote Sierra de Llaberia is difficult to access and little visited. This tranquil setting makes the sierra an important breeding area for rock birds of great interest. It also contains remarkable karstic formations such as rock shelters, caves, chasms and natural bridges.

Buseu Project

This initiative is based in an abandoned village that has now been restored for ecotourism, with photographers’ hides, photography courses and workshops and a rural home offering tourist accommodation (Casa Felip). The hides overlook a feeding station, allowing photographers to capture spectacular images of golden eagles, bearded vultures and other scavengers.

Bird Photo Tours – La Sabina

Excursions of one or more days, individually or in groups, to photograph the most iconic species in the region. They manage several fixed and temporary hides, specialising in birds in high mountain areas (such as the Casa Daniela hide for observing scavengers), hills and drylands.
