Beyond the steep mountain ranges that border the Terra Alta (Els Ports, Pàndols and Cavalls), the landscape of this region is predominantly agricultural, mainly vineyards, olive and almond trees, alongside managed forests, with a rich cultural heritage of dry stone architecture.
